I hear these concerns all the time, and they’re completely valid. In my own therapy journey, I realized that just talking about things felt incomplete, but so did not talking enough—I needed something that met me where I was.

As a beginning therapist, I didn’t anticipate how many of my clients had been in therapy 2-3 times before. They started sharing things with me like “I feel really accepted by you” or “I can tell you aren’t judging me.” I started noticing patterns in what they were looking for: they wanted their resistance honored instead of feeling pushed to share before they were ready. They wanted to feel heard instead of like a problem to be solved. They needed tools to practice between sessions at their own pace, and they needed to know I wasn’t irritated or annoyed by their process.

I practice from a quiet Denver office and work with clients across Colorado online. I blend talk therapy with experiential work and body awareness because I’ve learned that healing happens differently for everyone. Some clients work with me for 8 sessions while others need years—I customize my approach to your unique background and issues within a timeframe that feels right for you, not rushed or drawn out.

I believe in the value of this work. And I believe that finding the right therapeutic fit matters deeply.
